Roatan is the ONLY Island with an INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT in the Bay Island's chain meaning access has never been easier .

Arrival in Honduras usually means a 90 day entry visa ,but ask for those coming from the U.S.A . Tell the Immigration Officer that you're attending a 6-8 week Education/ Divemaster Training and 90 day visa is usually not a problem .
On departure you'll pay the $38 exit tariff /departure tax if leaving via the Airports .
Overland by Bus use the Safety of the Larger Bus Companies like
Hedman Alas & Tica Bus etc
Average Price from San Pedro Sula ( SAP) to La Ceiba
is around for $25-30 on Hedman Alas
As a Tourist you will not be charge more !
Pay just $8 more for first class - well worth the leg room ....
Then take the Galaxy Ferry From La Ceiba to Roatan
A Taxi from Hedman Alas in La Ceiba to the Ferry Terminal is around $3 - $5
Average Ferry Price is $27 one-way
The Ferry leaves La Ceiba at 9.30am & 4.30pm
