Also remember you can Fly into the Mainland Honduras to San Pedro Sula ( SAP ) or the Capitol Tegucigalpa and redirect to ROATAN either by a connecting Island Flight or via Bus and Ferry .
Arrival in Honduras usually means a 90 day entry visa ,but ask for those coming from the U.S.A . Tell the Immigration Officer that you're attending a 6-8 week Education/ Divemaster Training , and 90 day visa is usually not a problem .
On departure you'll pay the $35 exit tariff /departure tax if leaving via the Airports .
